Overview

Reviews incoming loans for TRID compliance and minimum documentation requirements. Communicates file deficiencies with internal and external customers regarding documentation needed to complete disclosures and full submission of loan to underwriting. Develops and maintains relationships with wholesale broker production sources. The duties for Setup Desk include, but are not limited to, those described below.

Responsibilities

  • Essential Job Functions:

    • Organization: Must be incredibly organized and a self-starter who can manage their own daily priorities toggling in between review of new loans and maintenance of existing pipeline.
    • Communication: Communicates well verbally and in writing with co-workers and customers acting as liaison between PRMG’s internal departments to ensure cohesive business flow.
    • Equipment: Uses such office equipment as computer terminals and copiers.
    • Physical: Must be able to sit for extended time periods. Hearing and vision within normal ranges.

Responsibilities:

  • Meets minimum productivity requirements of 15 files reviewed.
  • Reviews loan submission data for minimum requirements and communicates effectively in writing and on the phone with PRMG employees and TPO partners.
  • Work in tandem with loan production personnel including Account Managers, Account Executives and TPO partners, to ensure smooth flow of loan applications and packages to and within the company.
  • Reviews change of circumstance data and processes in system for ReDisclosure Team to send.
  • Utilize DDA (Data, Documents & Analyzers) technology and can competently review mis-filed documents for re-filing in correct area of the imaging system.
  • Uses PRMG submission checklist to verify/validate all required documentation by program.
  • Perform loan application data entry in Encompass.
  • Verifies accurate TRID compliance dates and acceptable program documentation.
  • Order and/or validate FHA/VA case assignment accuracy including HUD SUA (Single Unit Approval) process.
  • Utilize various services daily such as VA, HUD, USDA websites, AUS-FNMA/FHLMC, FNMA Condo Project Management, Loan Bea Fraud Reports,. Flood Certification, Site-Pro Property Reports,

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Experience in mortgage operations required

 

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal-communication and business-relationship skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technologically proficient in MS Windows software
  • Outlook experience required
  • Excellent spelling skills required

 

Education:

  • High school diploma

 

Travel and other requirements:

    • Travel is not required
    • This role is not currently eligible to work from home. Employee must be on site daily in the Corona Corporate office for a minimum of 8 hours per work-day
    • During periods of high volume there may be mandatory overtime of up to 2 hours per day.
