Overview

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Senior Mortgage/LOS Business Analyst
  • Consults and coordinates Business Unit Business Analysts
  • Support organizational design, definition of roles and responsibilities, process workflows, and uniformity
  • Responsible for documenting and version management of all mortgage operations work flows
  • Receives and reviews system change requests, and ensures completeness prior to entering the backlog
  • Directs and manages the change portfolio for LOS and related systems
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities. Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Assesses change requests in terms of effort required, its impact, and expected benefits
  • Advises on the alignment of changes with systems capability and strategy
  • Management of changes that are internally initiated or initiated by system vendors
  • Ensures that system changes are released according to establish policy and standards
  • Coordinates pre-release and post-release testing
  • Collects post-deployment feedback from Help Desk and other sources feeds into the improvement cycle
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Oversees the testing and release of new loan products from a systems and end/user perspective
  • Support communication efforts. Support the design, development, delivery and management of IT /LOS System related communications.
  • Supports training efforts. Provides input, documents requirements, and ensures the delivery of training information for the Training Department or develops training materials internally.
  • Coordinates changes with Help Desk Manager and ensures staff are informed or trained prior to release

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Extensive experience as a Mortgage Business Analyst & LOS System Administrator
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience with traditional SDLC, Agile, and rapid development software methodologies
  • A high degree of understanding of current mortgage process and accepted industry standards and up to date knowledge of new technologies that can be applied to new concepts required
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work with and understand Developer logic
